You Can’t Please Everyone: Thoughts on Andrew Foshee’s “Wasting My Time”

As much as I try to stay positive about music and life in general, sometimes there are things I don’t enjoy. Also, unfortunately, sometimes I go on crazy late night music-buying binges where I end up with stuff that is bad. Andrew Foshee’s album Wasting My Time is one of those things. You know, it’s really not even that terrible, I guess. It’s just that I can’t bring myself to listen to it again to figure out which songs were okay.

This is why illegal downloading is awesome, because I can listen to something first, and then delete it if it is bad. Unfortunately, I paid for this one. I want to like it, I really do, because he seems like such an earnest lil’ guy and he tried so hard (that and I paid $9.99 for it) but I can’t. Maybe one day I’ll give it another go and pick out a couple of songs that are listenable. Feel free to disagree and explain why I should like it, but I get the feeling that that isn’t going to happen.
