Show: Brothers & Sisters
Episode: “Everything Must Go” (3×04)
You Can Watch It: Sundays at 10pm on ABC
Nora decided to sell all of her dead cheating husband’s belongings in a yard sale to clear space for her new office. Things quickly turned to disaster when Tommy and Sarah were forced to be in the same room together and Justin became distraught over his father’s possessions being sold off. Robert passive-aggressively took out his disappointment over losing Kitty as his Communications Advisor by turning down any and all applicants she put in front of him. Kevin and Saul lounged by the pool. Rebecca and Holly reconnected over filing and takeout. That probably won’t last for long since Rebecca stumbled upon a copy of the real love child’s birth certificate when moving things on Holly’s desk. Nora had a breakdown about not having anymore of her dead cheating husband’s things. Justin refrained from saying, “I told you so,.” And republican Robert asked liberal Kevin to become his new Communications Advisor just for funsies.
Conclusions:
Dear Ryan, shit storm right ahead!

Show: The Hills
Episode: “You’ll Never Have This…” (4×11)
You Can Watch It: Mondays at 10pm on MTV
The cool kids flew to Cabo for Brody’s totally awesome birthday bash. But there was drama on board since the newly dumped-by-Audrina Justin was along for the ride. Lauren attempted to dispense common sense advice to Audrina about avoiding involvement in emotionally abusive relationships, while Audrina whined about Justin stealing her flower (some sort of hair accessory, not her virginity). Meanwhile, back in LA, the not-so-cool kids were left to squabble. Heidi invited Stephanie and her new boyfriend to come to dinner with her and Spencer, but Spencer was a total douche the entire time (as expected) and made it the most awkward event of all time.
Conclusions:
Stephanie, seriously, punch your brother in the face. And, Lauren, no one is listening to you.

Show: Eli Stone
Episode: “Grace” (2×02)
You Can Watch It: Tuesdays at 10pm on ABC
Nate was determined to make Eli go with him to the last baseball game at Marvel stadium, but Eli didn’t feel like celebrating the return of his aneurysm and hallucinations/visions from god. While jogging, he slipped into a vision of an unknown woman singing “Hit Me With a Hot Note” to him in a jazz club. Nate won in the end and he and Eli went to the game. While the bros were enjoying a nice afternoon of male bonding, a fight broke out in the stands after a clumsy young woman (who was actually the chick from the jazz vision) spilled drinks and food all over various people in the seats next to her. Eli came to her rescue by shouting that the Marvels suck, and they shared a cute moment near the concession stand where we learned that her name was, ironically, Grace. Eli found himself torn between seeing the vision as directions for how to win his case, a father and mother arguing over the remains of their deceased veteran son, or as a sign that he is meant to be with Grace. Turns out, it was meant for both. Eli and Grace danced together to “Hit Me With a Hot Note” at the jazz club from his vision, and Eli was able to draw evidence out from his client, the veteran’s father, that helped him win the case (but, unfortunately, destroy the client’s marriage). Sadly, Grace, a lawyer for a non-profit organization, left on a plane to move to Kenya for her work, but not before the two were able to share what Grace calls a “magical airport moment.”
Conclusions:
Katie Holmes was endearing. I am surprised to say this, but I hope she comes back. However, I hope she does not ever have to sing again.

Show: Lipstick Jungle
Episode: “Chapter Eleven: The F-Word” (2×04)
You Can Watch It: Wednesdays at 10pm on NBC
Things between Victory and Rodrigo were going swimmingly until they decided it was time for Vic to meet Rodrigo’s daughter. The brat hates her (um, LAME, she’s a famous fashion designer! Get over yourself, kid!). Nico’s father paid a special visit to her at the office and begged her to help her estranged brother wiggle out of insider trading charges from the Feds. Wendy has in no way adjusted to not having a job, and she attempted to fill up her schedule with optometrist and dental cleaning appointments. Everyone attended a charity event for autism. Nico looked like a Greek goddess, and Kirby finally got to meet the ladies! Victory was ditched by Rodrigo and his daughter for being too glam. Wendy bailed out at the sight of Griffin, only to go home and breakdown in a hysterical fit in Shane’s arms. And when she cries, I cry. Oh, and her daughter needs a major attitude adjustment.
Conclusions:
I would like to lend my attitude adjusting services to the Healy family.

Show: ER
Episode: “Parental Guidance” (15×04)
You Can Watch It: Thursdays at 10pm on NBC
The interns are back in full force, and Banfield has everyone pairing up with a mentor. Morris’s intern attempted to get him a date with the call girl whose mother he treated last season, but Morris declared he is done with dating. Apparently, he has not gotten over Hope. Simon won’t give up on hooking up with Neela, and he actually talked Lucien into giving him some pointers. A would-be mugger attacked Banfield on her way back from a coffee run, but she used her sweet Tae Kwan Do moves to incapacitate him. In patient plot news, a young girl’s tween sister, Claire, landed her in the hospital after intentionally pushing her off a wall and when that didn’t do the job, Claire turned of her oxygen and then lit her legs on fire.
Conclusions:
We can all feel victorious since no principle cast members were removed from the show this week (pour some out for Greg and Abby, y’all).

AJ- No “Office” updates??? Not a fan???
also: Remember when Katie Holmes sang “On My Own” at the talent show on Dawson’s Creek?
Do you think she secretly wants to launch a singing career? If DC was popular now, she probably would have dropped a CD…
I have to say thank you for watching The Hills so that I don’t have to.
