Enough speculation!

Dear American media,
I’m pretty sure with 300 million people in this country you could find something more interesting to cover than the “will she? won’t she?” circus that has mushroomed out of Obama’s recent meetings with Senator Clinton.
Of course, my fingers are crossed that this isn’t all hearsay and that she takes the job. I mean, I was in her camp first. Love her. Love the dirty politics and how she can serve it back to anyone who dishes it out. And I will never apologize for that. But I’m so over the ambivalent headlines feining urgency and factual proof. All we hear about is her “confidants” or “people close” to her flapping their jaws about the fact that she might-possibly-if the mood is right-accept the offer that may or may not have been extended. I’m done weeding through innuendos and he-said-she-said in articles in The New York Times or on CNN to find any hint of the answer the headlines promised. Sweet journalism, guys.
She’ll tell you when she’s ready! Obama will tell you when he’s ready!
If the only news fit to broadcast 24/7 in this country is speculation, I think all the major news juggernauts should just…take the week off, have a nice turkey dinner, and come back with something firm and definite. Short of that, I just don’t care.
